First up

First post on this thing. Gona try to keep a small account of my travels here for friends and family to see what we're up to over the next year or so. Or maybe I'll be a lazy ass and this will be my first & last post? Time will tell...

Madrid > Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Flying internally to from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia and spending some time down there in a wee village called El Calafate. Where we're going to see the amazing Patagonia and El Calafate's fantastic glaciers!
We then fly back up to Buenos Aires, and make our way to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) for the annual Carnival. (aka Mardi Gras)

From here we're heading on a special trip to the Galápagos Islands, now this I can't wait for! - a once in a lifetime chance to see.

We'll head down, land bound, throughout the east coast of China destined for Hong Kong.

Here we plan to travel around most of se.Asia... Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam & Laos. We'll work our way down to down through Singapore, and eventually fly back up to Bangkok.

We will ultimately travel northwards to Delhi after arriving in Mumbai, but we'll possibly meet up with a past Belfast workmate from India who lives in Pune, just s.east of Mumbai.

Just back from BA, there last week,

got a hostel up in Ig’ falls was like €14 for two for the night, you got to go to the the falls, tour costs about €30 max, and you need at least a day there, and its class, haven't been down south in Argentina, thats next time I go back.

ya need to go to Joe Bannas in Hong Kong, was mad when I was there.

Singapore, I wish I could go with ya................ head down to clark quay.
get a few of the tours from the hotel, ya should have it done in 3 days
for the electronics, head to the sim lim towers, go to raffels just to see it, and make sure that you pants on, they wont let you in with shorts


In KL, you can go up the towers, but i never made it up there, theres some good clubs on the Main street, can't remember the name.
if ya can there is a rain forest park in malaysia, ment to be class, its on my list of things to do if I ever get back. head out to the beatu caves, well wort it, tin mines are a money suck if ya ask me.

make sure you get a lonely planet for toyko, other wise you won't be able to get around the subway, and if all else fails, eat in the 7-11 shops, and in outer tokyo, they won't let you into many of the bars,as your could be seen to be American, make sure that they know that you are Irish.
